Chesmar’s Medina model home in Elyson is filled with beautiful design features – and almost all are included
Chesmar’s new Medina model home in Elyson is an eye-opening example of how this leading builder combines value with great design, floor plan flexibility and a surprisingly long list of standard, no-extra-cost features.
Showcasing Chesmar plans priced from the high $300Ks on 50-foot homesites, the Medina is one of 14 fully furnished model homes in Elyson’s new Model Home Village. This one-stop destination includes the Elyson Welcome Center and a short trail leading to tours of our newest major amenity, Lakeside Landing.
Chesmar sales consultant Alexandra LaFont says having the design center in the model allows home buyers to see what comes included like blinds, tall ceilings, 3cm granite countertops, 42-inch upper cabinets, recessed LED lighting and designer light fixtures, covered front porches and over-sized rear patios, and much more. She also loves to work with homebuyers to price out and design a home customized to them so they know their exact price before purchasing their home.
The Medina does display a few structural options, such as the upstairs media room, but LaFont says these options are surprisingly affordable. “The media room option is just a few hundred dollars,” she says.
The Medina’s open, light-filled design is a result of listening to what home buyers want, LaFont adds. Windows on the main floor are expansive, with double-stacked windows in the two-story family room. At the same time, Chesmar offers industry-leading energy efficiency, with homes built to Environments for Living Diamond and Certified Green Standards, and with a heating and cooling energy use and comfort guarantee.
Here are some of our favorite features you will see throughout the Medina:
- The first-floor primary bedroom suite has a creative location at the rear of the home allowing for the main living area to be more robust instead of long. The walk-in closet in the luxurious primary bath is enormous.
- The extended patio is a true outdoor living area, large enough to easily accommodate seating and dining areas.
- The downstairs guest bedroom suite includes a full bath. This space may also be built as a study.
- The upstairs gameroom is open and spacious, with iron railings that match the staircase. The optional media room displayed in this model home adds to the multiple family activity areas.
- The Medina is strong on storage, from the garage storage area to the walk-in pantry. All bedrooms have walk-in closets.
