Education is Everything

At Elyson, we believe great communities start with great schools. That’s why our school-aged residents have access to not one, not two, but three incredible school options: Katy ISD, Cypress-Fairbanks ISD (Cy-Fair ISD) and Harmony School of Excellence (a public charter campus right in the neighborhood). Each one brings something special to the table, from award-winning academics to a STEM-focused curriculum to top-tier extracurriculars.
Of course, we wholeheartedly believe that you’re never too young (or too old) to expand your knowledge. Which is why there are also opportunities for daycare, pre-school and continuing education nearby.
What can we say? We love learning.

And now for a little geography lesson

Where students will go all comes down to Peek Road: west = Katy ISD, east = Cy-Fair ISD
(And Harmony? They welcome students from either side!)

Katy ISD

Katy ISD has a reputation as one of the best school districts in Texas — and it’s well earned. It’s ranked #1 in the Houston area for best teachers (by niche.com), and students here regularly post ACT and SAT scores above state and national averages. Translation? Kids thrive here. And with five Katy ISD schools in or near Elyson (including our newest school Boudny Elementary), your school commute just got a whole lot shorter. Keep in mind: students entering 12th grade in 2025 will attend nearby Paetow High School until Freeman High adds 12th grade in 2026.

So where will your kids go?

Look at this district map and see, based on a particular home’s address.

Cy-Fair ISD

Planning to live east of Peek Road? That will put you in Cy-Fair ISD, one of the most well-regarded school districts in the region. According to niche.com, it's ranked #2 in Harris County, #7 in the Houston area and #2 for athletes, so whether your kid’s a bookworm, a ballplayer or both, they’re in good hands. Cy-Fair is big on opportunity, with strong academics and tons of ways to get involved.
