Cy-Fair ISD, serving part of Elyson, is No. 2 Best School District in Harris County for 2027
Elyson is proud to be part of two highly regarded school districts. While about 90% of our planned homes are zoned to the Katy Independent School District, homes located east of Peek Road are part of the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District.
The great news is that both Cy-Fair ISD and Katy ISD perform very well in the 2027 Niche report.
Cy-Fair ISD again ranks as the No. 2 Best School District in Harris County, with an overall A grade. Breaking down the report card, the district has an A- for Academics, an A for Teachers, and A+ grades for College Prep and Diversity.
Niche recognizes Cy-Fair ISD for several distinctions at the regional level, including No. 1 Best District for Athletes in Harris County and No. 1 Most Diverse School District in Harris County.
Nationally, Cy--Fair ISD is in the top 8% of more than 10,000 school districts ranked. It also ranks within the top 8% of school districts in Texas.
At the campus level, the Cy-Fair ISD schools zoned to Elyson are also highly rated.
With a B+ overall rating, Walker Elementary is a 2027 Niche Standout School in Texas, a recognition given to schools making a difference in their community.
Rowe Middle School and Cypress Park High School both have B overall Niche grades. Cypress Park is among the top 10% of Niche Standout High Schools in Texas.
These Cy-Fair campuses all have B scores in the 2026 Texas Education Agency Accountability Ratings.
Rowe has several Distinction Designations, including Postsecondary Readiness and Top 25% Comparative Academic Growth.
