David Weekley opens 2 new model homes priced from the mid $300,000s in Elyson

Elyson has four brand-new model homes showcasing fresh new plans priced from the mid $300,000s by two leading builders, David Weekley Homes and Brookfield Residential.

While most of Elyson’s model homes are located in our central Model Home Village, these model homes are right in the neighborhood where David Weekley and Brookfield are building.

Located off Peek Road, between FM 529 and Beckendorff Road, this neighborhood will have a central interior park, Ember Park, with more nearby recreational amenities and natural open spaces connected by trail.

In this blog, we take a look at David Weekley’s new model homes. Click here to read more about the Brookfield Residential models.

From the mid $300s

The Melford model home showcases David Weekley’s new collection priced from the mid $300,000s in Elyson.

These cottage-style plans are offered on homesites with rear alleyways. This design allows for garages to be tucked away in the back, with friendly front porches looking out to the street.

With an exterior that harmoniously blends different materials and warm Craftsman colors, the Melford is a great example of David Weekley’s cottage charm in Elyson.

The front porch is decorated with inviting outdoor furniture, and the interior welcomes you with a two-story foyer and an angled staircase with elegant wrought iron spindles.

A study with whitewashed brick walls offers the perfect spot for a productive home office near the front door.

Step into the kitchen and casual dining area, and you’re greeted with dramatically streaked solid-surface countertops. Cabinets are painted a classic dark green, with upper glass-front cabinets adding to the timeless appeal – and storage options.

One of the most impressive features of the Melford are the dramatic ceiling heights on the main floor, along with the abundant windows, including upper windows for light and privacy.

The tall ceilings continue on the covered porch, creating a seamless flow, especially with the optional sliding glass doors between the family room and patio.

The owner’s retreat has a luxurious spa-like bathroom, and this model displays the optional extended shower, complete with wall- and ceiling-mounted shower heads.

Upstairs, the Melford has two more bedrooms and a retreat, with options for a fourth bedroom and third full bath.

From the low $400,000s

The Conroe model home showcases David Weekley’s new collection of open-concept plans offered on 45-foot homesites in Elyson.

Priced from the low $400,000s, these plans have two- and three-car attached garages, with everyday entries outfitted with convenient backpack racks and other storage options.

From the front door, these homes offer all the award-winning design drama that David Weekley is known for.

A one-story design, the Conroe offers sweeping sight lines from the moment you walk through the extended foyer.

The kitchen and dining area has a large island for food prep and casual dining, and the upper glass-front cabinets add a classic touch.

This well-planned kitchen wastes no opportunity to provide as much function and convenience as possible. A prime example is the thoughtful coffee maker niche between the refrigerator and pantry, with cabinet storage both above and below.

The high ceiling in the kitchen/dining area pops up even higher as you enter the family room, making the interior feel even more airy and open. This model displays sliding glass doors to the extended outdoor living area, which has an equally high ceiling.

The owner’s retreat has a beamed cathedral ceiling with a stately chandelier. The wall of windows has high cutout window near the ceiling, letting in natural light even when the curtains are closed.

The owner’s bath has the doorless super shower option, with two shower heads and a high window for light and privacy.

This four-bedroom plan has spacious secondary bedrooms with fun design themes, including an Astros room with a “Be Someone” astronaut poster.

A study, a family foyer with a built-in backpack rack, and a large utility room with a built-in countertop are just a few more highlights to see in the Conroe model.

This model home has a cut-out ceiling display in one room, showing David Weekley’s conditioned attic feature. One of the builder’s many EnergySaver features, the conditioned attic moves the insultation from the ceiling, or attic floor, all the way to the rafters. This reduces heat, humidity and air infiltration from a hot attic, making the home easier to cool and reducing wear and tear on HVAC equipment.

Surrounded by recreation, education and more

Brookfield Residential and David Weekley will build a total of 145 homes in several collections in this neighborhood, which has an interior greenspace called Ember Park, with amenities including a firepit, event lawn, a covered pavilion for gatherings, and table tennis equipment. In all, residents enjoy more than 650 acres of recreational amenities, parks, trails, lakes and open green space in Elyson.

The neighborhood is located in the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District, ranked as the No. 2 Best School District in Harris County for 2026 by Niche. Students are zoned to attend Walker Elementary School, Rowe Middle School and Cypress Park High School. (Most of Elyson is zoned to the Katy Independent School District.)

Just across the street is Harmony School of Excellence – Katy, a STEM-focused charter school serving grades Pre-K through 12. Learn more about all of Elyson’s public schools, charter schools and private preschools, along with nearby higher education.
