Katy ISD sweeps list of region’s Best Public Elementary Schools
Elementary schools in the Katy Independent School District took every spot in the Top 10 in a new list of the Best Public Elementary Schools in the Houston region.
Niche.com, a national educational data analysis site, compiled the list using comprehensive data from the Department of Education, as well as teacher and student surveys.
Among the top 30 schools, Katy ISD took 19 spots, or 63 percent.
The top school in the Houston-area was Odessa Kilpatrick Elementary School in Cinco Ranch.
Opened in August, Katy ISD’s new Bethke Elementary School, which serves Elyson students, is too new to be rated, but we have no doubt that it will soon join its fellow high-achieving Katy ISD schools on future lists.
