Westin’s new Elyson plans are filled with style
When Westin Homes opened its first model home in Elyson in 2016, it proved that new homes priced in the $300,000s could have many of the design features most associated with much more expensive homes, such as grand foyers with curved staircases, rotunda ceilings and Juliet balconies.
Opened in early 2019, Westin’s newest model home in Elyson shows that new homes priced from the mid $200,000s can also offer many of these impressive features, along with practical features such as full-yard sprinkler systems, abundant storage spaces and design flexibility.
Westin’s new Haven model is located in Elyson’s newest neighborhood, along with a new model from Chesmar Homes. Both offer pricing from the mid $200,000s in a location near one of Elyson’s newest amenities, a planned splash pad and park.
Priced from the $250,000s, Westin’s Haven model home begins with a spacious two-story foyer featuring a curved staircase with wrought iron spindles. This graceful staircase leads the eye up to another Westin signature feature: a detailed rotunda ceiling. Blending beauty with function, a large storage space is concealed underneath the staircase.
The heart of this home is an open kitchen and informal dining area with a large table island for seating, prep work and more hidden storage. This area flows onto the family room, featuring a 15-foot ceiling with optional beams.
The private downstairs owner’s suite has a wall of windows looking out to the covered patio. It includes a luxurious primary bath with a cavernous walk-in closet.
Upstairs, the Haven has two more bedrooms and a gameroom.
There are several ways that homebuyers can customize this flexible plan. A downstairs flex room can be built as a study with French doors, as a media room, or as a fourth bedroom with a full bath. Upstairs, the open loft gameroom can be built as a fifth bedroom.
Westin’s plans in this new Elyson neighborhood include many standard, no-extra-cost features, such as fully landscaped front and back yards, and full-yard sprinkler systems.
