8 design features to love in our new Pulte model home
From a gameroom that literally says “fun,” to study space for every member of the family, Pulte’s new Mansfield model home is filled with standout architectural features and eye-catching design ideas.
FUN room. There’s no doubt about what goes on in this gameroom, thank to Pulte’s “fun” wall mural. Located between three upstairs bedrooms, this loft gameroom offers plenty of space for watching TV, playing games and reading. With its roomy desk, it does double duty as a homework center.
Front porch social. The Mansfield says “Welcome” with a spacious front porch, complete with stone columns and a classic standing seam metal roof. The covered patio offers a second, more private outdoor living area out back.
Oversized island. The Mansfield has a kitchen island that’s so big, it’s more like a continent. With plenty of seating all around, this island is the focal point of an open family area that includes the gathering room and café.
Ceiling drama. We love how the coffered ceiling in the gathering room combines coziness and drama, with details, texture and depth. This architectural detail is echoed in the master bedroom suite. We also love the corner fireplace, with modern tile that matches the kitchen backsplash.
Sumptuous suite. The natural wood accent wall behind the king bed creates a serene atmosphere in the master bedroom suite. The natural light coming in from the bow-bay window makes it even more beautiful. We’ve already mentioned the coffered ceiling, but can we rave about that contemporary chandelier?
Spa-like retreat. The Mansfield can be built with up to 4.5 bathrooms, but the standout will always be the master bath. This spa-like retreat includes double vanities, a garden tub and a glass-enclosed shower, all coordinated with a soothing combination of tile and dark-stained cabinetry.
Space to study. The Personal Planning Center, a signature Pulte feature, offers a convenient office area next to the kitchen. With its built-in corner desktop and drawers, it offers study space for two or more people at once. For even more home office space, the flex room next to the foyer can be built as a study with French doors.
Say “Hello.” It seems like designers always have the most fun with the kids’ bedrooms. With its canopy bed, desk area and fun word art, this bedroom would make any princess happy. The Mansfield can be built with up to five bedrooms, including a downstairs guest suite with a full bath.
Elyson’s Model Home Village also includes Pulte’s Amherst model home, showcasing plans priced from the mid $200,000s in Pulte’s Sierra Series. You can tour a total of 17 model homes in the village, representing new homes priced from the low $200,000s to the $700,000s by 12 leading homebuilders.
