We’ll be splashing into Summer 2027 with two new pool-centered amenities
Two major new parks with swimming pools, splash pads, ball courts, playgrounds and more are coming to Elyson for Summer ’27.
These new amenities will increase Elyson’s total number of community swimming pools to four, including the existing popular pools at Elyson House and Lakeside Landing.
Located near some of Elyson’s newest neighborhoods, the new pools will be open all year long, like all of Elyson’s pools.
Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming for next summer. We’ll announce opening dates as soon they are available.
The Reserve
Located along Elyson Reserve Boulevard, just north of Longenbaugh Road and east of Katy Hockley Cut-Off Road, The Reserve will be a three-acre recreational amenity located at the confluence of two lakes, with two larger lakes nearby.
Swimming will be the main attraction at The Reserve, with a resort-style pool surrounded by in-pool loungers, open tanning areas and shaded seating.
There will also be a separate lap pool area with swimming lanes, plus a splash pad.
The Reserve will have more activities to enjoy, including two tennis courts, two pickleball courts, and areas for cornhole and table tennis. It will also have a playground, a firepit area surrounded by chairs, and a shaded picnic pavilion with tables and chairs.
Horizon Pool & Park
Also opening next summer, Horizon Pool & Park will be located just south of Longenbaugh Road, off Elyson Horizon Trail and west of the Grand Parkway.
The focal point will be a large resort-style swimming pool, with a walkable bridge connecting the deeper and shallower sides.
A fun splash pad area will be next to the shallower end, and the entire pool will be surrounded by shaded cabanas and open tanning areas.
Horizon Park will also have table tennis and lawn games, a playground and an event lawn. A shaded pavilion with table and chairs will host picnics and parties.
A landscaped promenade will lead to an overlook spot, with views of the 25-acre lake at the edge of this amenity.
When they open, The Reserve and Horizon Pool & Park will be the newest parts of Elyson’s vision to provide more than 750 acres of recreation centers, parks, trails, lakes and natural open space upon completion of our 3,600-acre master plan.
