Chesmar planning August completion for its Elyson model home
The first builder to start construction of its model home in Elyson, Chesmar Homes also plans to be the first builder to open its model in this new Katy ISD community.
Weather permitting, Chesmar plans to start welcoming visitors to its 2,733-square-foot Poplar model in mid August, slightly ahead of the community’s official fall opening. This four-bedroom model will showcase Chesmar’s Arbor Collection, featuring eight one- and two-story plans ranging from 1,975 to 2,749 square feet.
The Poplar begins with a soaring two-story foyer that passes under the upstairs walkway for an added touch of drama. Other highlights include a formal dining room and a two-car garage with storage space.
The Poplar has two covered outdoor areas, including a spacious front porch and a patio that opens from the combined family room and kitchen area. The master suite is downstairs, along with a guest suite that includes a full bath and walk-in closet. Upstairs, the Poplar has a big gameroom and two more bedrooms, both with walk-in closets.
Like other plans in the Arbor Collection, the Poplar will include no-extra-cost features such as iron staircase spindles, crown molding, high ceilings and dramatic archways. Kitchens include granite countertops, tile flooring, 42-inch upper cabinets, and complete appliance packages with washers and dryers.
All plans in the Arbor Collection include covered patios, and buyers can add optional fireplaces with stone surrounds and alder wood mantels.
The Poplar will be one of 10 fully furnished models to be open in the Elyson Model Home Village this fall.
Located adjacent to the Elyson House, which includes the Elyson Welcome Center and café, the village will also include models by Darling, David Weekley, Highland, Perry, Pulte, Trendmaker and Westin.
